The Taxi-Cat is a Glacier Bay catamaran, boats which have earned the highest reputation for their unique design, unparalleled performance, and matchless construction. Our twin hulls slice through the waves rather than pounding over them to provide the driest, most stable and comfortable ride imaginable.

Her spacious rear deck provides seating for up to six in comfortable deck chairs and there is a comfortable bow seat for the more adventurous. Of course she is equipped with all the latest navigational equipment including GPS and Radar, as well as a fully enclosed “head”.

Additionally we have a custom built boarding ladder which folds down from the bow to provide safe and easy loading and unloading at the beach. She is truly the best boat for the job to be found on Nantucket.

Captain Tobey Leske is a native Islander who has been plying the waters of Nantucket Harbor and Nantucket Sound, as well as from British Columbia to the Caribbean, for over 40 years. He has commanded a variety of boats up to 120’ and currently holds a 100-ton USCG Master’s License. He knows the island, the best places to go, and loves to share his knowledge of its lore and history.
